Description:
Built by GE in 1943, this 65T switcher served the Army until being sold to the North American Salt Company (later renamed Compass Minerals International). Serial #13157. No date, location or photographer was listed so "guess-timates" were used.

USAX RSD1 #8651 - US Army
Description:
This Alco RSD1 loco built in January of 1945 for the US Army was spotted on a 757th Army Detachment Open House at the Transportation Battalion Headquarters in Milwaukee, Wi. Note the transfer table in the foreground. No photographer was listed for the slide.
