Sweetland. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by David R. Sweetland that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1950. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5810 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5810 was constructed in January of 1951. In this context, they're departing the Altoona Passenger Station with a mail & express train bound for Pittsburgh and points West. Photo taken from the 17th Street Bridge. ("PrrFan18n")
