Here is the Association of American Railroads' stock photo #575. Caption On Reverse: "Group of 'Pennsy' steam locomotives." Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #3743, #3885, #6915, #3727, and #5385. Engine #3743 is a K-4S built in Juniata in March of 1920 and retired in November of 1948. #3885 is a K-4S built in Altoona in September of 1923 and retired in March of 1954. Engine #6915 is an M-1 built by Baldwin in November of 1926 and retired in April of 1956. #3727 is a K-4S built in Juniata in February of 1920 and retired in August of 1956. Engine #5385 is a K-4S built by Baldwin in June of 1924 and retired in June of 1948. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. John S. Fisher Collection; #8 of 44. Here is a photo that was included in the "Altoona Area Railroad Pictorial History" edited by Linda White and published in 1996 by The Altoona Mirror, page 70. Photo Caption: "Engine No. 6915 rounds the Horseshoe Curve in 1926." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6915, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during October of 1926 and retired in April of 1956 after 30 years of service. It is pulling a passenger train past the Kittanning Point Station on its way down the Allegheny Mountains to Altoona and points East.
